On December 12th Innobasque, BEAZ, and SPRI with the collaboration of the Basque Government and the CDTI (Centre of Technological Development and Innovation) organised an insightful InfoDay at Berrikuntzaren Euskal Agentzia, in the heart of the Bizkaiko Parke Zientifiko eta Teknologikoa in Zamudio.
The primary objective of the event was to introduce various calls for the submission of collaborative international R&D+i projects focusing on the European Union's transformation towards a more competitive, circular, biologically sourced, climate-neutral, resilient, and environmentally friendly economy. The event specifically targeted individuals from businesses, business associations, clusters, consultancies, and others with direct or technical responsibilities in R&D+i. Additionally, it welcomed participants from the Basque Network of Science, Technology, and Innovation.
The EIT Food South team, Begoña Pérez de Villarreal and Nestor Etxaleku, took the floor to present EIT Food during the session titled: "EIT Food: Accelerating Innovation to Build a Future-Ready Food System." The discussion delved into strategies for fostering innovation to shape a food system aligned with future needs.
The informative event served as a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and the exploration of opportunities for collaborative projects that align with the EU's vision for a sustainable and innovative future.
