Test Farms is a programme that helps innovative agritech startups by linking them to farms where they can test and validate their products. The objective of the program is to bring entrepreneurial innovators and producers together in order to support technological transformation in European agriculture. To help us in this effort EIT Food is looking for one or more organisations with a large network of farmers in one or more of the following countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Spain, Turkey, Italy, Greece or Portugal. The responsibilities of the partner will be to support EIT Food in selecting startups for the program and then to match them with the farms in their network that best meet the testing requirements of the startup. After the matching process, the partner will coordinate the product testing on the farms. When the testing is completed the partner will help to organise a demo day on the test farm where the startup will explain their innovative solution to farmers and potential clients and investors.
