Request for Implementing Participants - Consumer Observatory - Trend Watch

The Trend Watch Work Package is responsible for setting up and manage a trend watch mechanism to identify and apply the relevant trends that are impacting and will impact the food system. It generates reliable projections in the long, medium and short term.

Through this call we are looking for an organisation to join the Consumer Observatory’s Trend Watch Work Package and deliver the Trends Activation task in close collaboration with the Trend Watch Work Package Leader and the Consumer Observatory’s Activity Leader.

The Trends Activation Task will bring trends to life by transforming the information generated by long‐term analysis (megatrends), medium‐term analysis (macro and microtrends) and short-term analysis (web scraping and (social) media analysis) into actionable inputs for innovation. This will make it possible to look into the future and identify the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
