With their ground-breaking technology, they are converting clean energy into sustainable algae-based food products.
Vaxa's technology platform is specially designed to leverage the clean, natural outputs of a geothermal plant in Iceland, enabling them to grow microalgae indoors, completely independent of the weather conditions outside. Their technology uses 100% green energy to power the production process, providing everything needed for Omega-3 and protein-rich microalgae to grow. Microalgae has both feed and food applications, making it a sustainable and scalable alternative to other protein sources such as soy or meat.
