Learn about fungi mycelium and how you can use it in practice!

The workshop will introduce the Myco startup's approach to developing eco-friendly and sustainable products from mycelium-based materials, i.e. the mycelium of wood-damaging fungi. Participants will have the opportunity to get hands-on with the production process and create innovative and environmentally friendly products with their own hands.

What will the workshop be about?

• about the properties, possibilities and potential of using mycelium-based materials
• about strategies for the successful transfer of research knowledge into practice, with an emphasis on ecological and sustainable innovations
• about creating your own eco-friendly mycelium product (you will make your own product)

• how it is possible and impossible to effectively transfer research findings into a real business environment
• what impact an eco-oriented approach can have on the competitiveness of companies in the startup ecosystem in the Czech Republic.
